Mike recently stood opposite classy opera singer Tanja Hamleh in “Geteiltes Leid”, a musical tale of neighbourly friction with surprising results. This two-hander was directed by up-and-coming Cologne man Maik Giesbert, with maestro Stefan Kammerer tinkling on the ivories. Read the notices.

Other recent roles under Giesbert’s direction have included Rob the hero in “Westernrevue” and Arne in “Oulipo” (Studiobühne Köln).

Every New Year’s Eve Mike plays butler James opposite the delightful Ilse Vonsien (Miss Sophie) in “Dinner for One” at Cologne’s Theaterhaus.

For the Cologne-based “whodunnit” agency Alibi (link www. your-alibi.de), Mike regularly performs as Inspector Marple in both the English and German versions of “Win the Race”, a thriller set in the world of Formula 1.

Mike was recently thrilled to reprise his roles in Charles Ludlam’s “The Mystery of Irma Vep”. This time the production was in German (“Das Geheimnis der Irma Vep”) and the stage was Cologne’s Theaterhaus. Mike was partnered by the superb Jörg Kernbach and the production was directed by Frank Müller.

At Frankfurt Internationales Theater Mike played Daniel Jennings in “Where Love Lies” and Kevin Bradley in “Engaging Moment”, both written and directed by Mike’s old pal, talented playwright Stewart Booth.

Mike received a "Topper", the 2001 US Army in Europe Best Actor in a Comedy award for multiple roles in "The Mystery of Irma Vep", a two-man play directed by Jerry Beatty at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse in Wiesbaden

Mike played wicked choreographer Damion in Stewart Booth's multi-facetted new play, "Happy Birthday Uncle Walter" at the Internationales Theater in Frankfurt

Mike played Judd in John Godber's "Bouncers", directed by Stewart Booth, alongside Phil Lewis (Lucky Eric), John G. Murphy (Ralph) and Stewart Booth (Les). FEST (Frankfurt English Speaking Theatre) returned to Frankfurt's Internationales Theater for a second run by popular demand

Mike has taken lead roles in a number of musicals directed by Gordon Steel as well as in plays in both the English and German language.
